This year's Indie Soap Awards was a wonderful celebration of the pioneers in entertainment. While televised soap opera may be floundering, the hope and enthusiasm of the indie soap world was very evident throughout the entire evening. No Daytime Emmy Award travelogues a la Las Vegas with this crowd. The awards show truly gave these artists the respect they deserve, complete with acting clips and acceptance speeches that weren't rushed. A big thank you to WE LOVE SOAPS for putting together such a great event!
